Red Snook?

has anyone kept red snook indoors? ive been looking for information but cant seem to find anything really good. i know i used to go fishing and catch them often but that doesnt happen anymore since they are really hard to find. anyone?

Do you know that they get to be 27". Why would you want a fish like that.

That is the fish alright. I have never heard of anyone keeping Red Snook indoors , but then again, I live in WISCONSIN. I have watched many outdoor shows on them, but don't know much about them. I would say they have been before, but they are probably like, to me, keeping a walleye or a fish around that size in a tank. I would not recommend it, because they deserve to be in the wild and be able to grow and spawn like all other fish.

i dont know they always get cooked bfore i get them in any of my tanks aghahaha. but they are very tasty.

im asking beacuse i saw them at petsmart and they looked really cool. they were 30$ each. and i remember once i talked to a guy who had them, and they spawned.

and if im not mistaken ive caught them in fresh, salt, and brackish water. my dad and i love going fishing.
