Beautiful. Red in the morning sailor take warning, red at night sailors delight. Dawn and dusk are my favourite times to take photo's of the colours in the sky and on the clouds. Red in the morning Shepperd take warning, Red at night shepperds delight.

OK, i'm getting some cracking portrait type pics, not much owt though. I need to think about a new lens, i'm struggling with fish tank shots!

fish tank shots are a nightmare . what is it that youre struggling with?

i'm looking at that 'crisp' shot, and just cannot get it.

i know what you mean , i have the same problem photographing fish . there is a definate art to it i think . 1 thing i have found is that the higer you can get the shutter speed the better.

with my tank being such a low light tank , my problem was trying to get a useable shutter speed without getting a badly underexposed shot .

so, set the ISO high? 600 upwards? I have kept the EV down as well?

i usually have to use quite a high iso for fish pics , 1600 is the norm under my lighting . not sure what you mean by ev tho , different brands tend to have different names for the same/similar things .
