I bought a Red Sea Co2 Biosystem. It is similar to the nutrafin but it uses a small water pump instead of a ladder. I have mine working but I notice two things. #1 The pump does not always start by itself. #2 I get a shot of bubbles about every 45 seconds or so. They are not constant by any means.

Does anyone else use the system and have any tips for me?

I'm thinking of adding a T connector and another generator (2 liter soda bottle) (Much cheaper  )

Now I can answer my own question. The system isn't worth a penny. The generator did make bubbles but it was slow. The worst part is the "pump" that is suposed to disperse the co2. IF you turn the pump off at night for instance it WILL NOT prime and start pumping again. I think the co2 fills the pump so that the impeller just spins in the co2 bubble.

DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY!

Now I have an air stone and a 2 liter bottle. Bubbles like crazy. Cost me $2.75 for 5 airstones and probably $1.00 for sugar and yeast.
