HAVE GOT ALARGE COMMUNITY TANK FILLED WITH BEGINNER FISH WHICH I AM GETTING ON WELL WITH,HAVE BEEN GIVEN 2ND TANK 120 LITRES .WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING MORE EXOTIC THINKING OF RED OSCARS ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKYOU. :good:

oscars are great fish but they do grow very large if you know you can house this fish then yeah go for it i have a large oscar and 4 convics and a plec in my 5 foot tank but i may need to get a larger tank in time to come even though the tank still looks empty ..
my oscar follows me all the time if i walk down 1 in of the living room he will follow me that way then when i walk back up he follows me again he also likes to be hand feed as i spoilt him when he was young and my computer desk is next to the tank and he alaways sits and watchers every move i make hes great .. you would get so much joy from these fish and they make fish keeping worth every minute and every penny ,,

i say go 4 it

but like i said you will need to get at least 4 to 5 ft tank these grow huge ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

what is that in foot ,, i would say he needs at least 4 ft for them

my oscar is in a 5 ft tank and hes still growing he may need a larger tank in time ,, but at the minute hes enjoying his space and swims around happily ,,

ohhhhh its just that i have a young 1 at the minute just seeing if you had 1 .. thanks anyways
