My Blue ram has a red fin. Is it blood or is it some kind of disease?

if the red eminating from the base of the fin then remove hi and put in a hospital tank immediaty. It could possibly be septicimia. Very contageous bacterial infection. Treat with melafix in a barebottom hospital that you do water changes everyday. within a week, it should get better with loss of the red color and a veracious appetite.

I moved him to a 7 gallon bucket and added some fresh water. I will get the mela fix as soon as I can. Pima fix(Antifungal) wont help, will it? Heres the pic by the way

No, you need melafix because that attacks the bacterial infection. And get it as soon as you can as the key to treating septicemia is catching it early. It does look like the blood is seeping into his right fin. I would def say septicemia, looks just like when my small bala shark got it bad. Luckily I saved him but he is extremely underweight now. But he eats like a horse and stays with the bigger bala's so I dont think its caused any perminant damage.
With that small bucket, do about a 40 to 50% water change everyday so the ammonia doesn't build up. I wouldn't even feed him too much if anything at all either. When my little guy had this, he didnt eat for a week straight, even when i put his fav, brine shrimp in the tank. Thats why he got so thin. But like i said, in 4 days to a week, he should start looking better and will prob be ready to eat after that amount of time but give him a little at a time so he doesnt engorge himself and hurt his intestinal tract.
Too, try to get a heater in there so it doesnt get too cold. Rams can be quite fickle with water stats... temp, ammonia and the such, so even only at 70F (21C) he might start turning for the worst. Dont worry about a light though. He will be fine with ambient light from the room, this might actually help too as he will feel safer and more secure in a darker environment.
