my cousin brought a red pearl flowhorn i dont have a tank now but its like 1 cm long and i have it in a tank full of fancy guppies.. are they gonna fight? soon to be a 10 gallon

I very much doubt a 1cm flowerhorn is gonna take on guppies bigger than himself, and it will sometime before he does, so you should be find for a bit and plus 1cm cichlid is still a fry !

Im not sure what species a red pearl flowerhorn is from, but at the least, i would guess its gonna grow to roughly 8inches or more so your gonna need atleast a 55G in the future, plan accordingly. So hopefully you will have him out of that miniature 10G before he gets big enough to consider the guppies as food :good:

my guess is that you have until the time that the flowerhorn is 2" before he kills off every last one of your guppies. you need to get another tank ASAP.

also, PM a mod to get this thread moved to the hybrid forum before some of the purists in here start saying nasty things to you. the guys in hybrids will also be better able to advise you with regards to an appropriate tank size.
