Love Red Dwarf! :D

Not seen all the episodes though, I'm too lazy to download whole series and don't have time to watch them all on Virgin - but will eventually!

I'm soooooooo excited about this!!

My HDD recorder will be set, the doors locked, the phone taken off the hook, the mobile buried under the gravel in my tank (joke!) and the kettle working flat out.

"Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!"

:D

Smoke me a kipper..... I'll be back for breakfast!

Can't wait, watched every episode of the originals, bought all the DVD's can't believe how daft the BBC have been not backing this reunion...

Ahh been waiting for this moment for tooo looooong now! I am so glad they didn't make a film you only have to see the Simpsons and Futurama to realise that movie transfers don't work so well for classics like these!

btw I hear they have dropped the laughter track not sure about anyone else but I can't imagine any of the original stuff being quite the same without it

As long as it doesn't disappoint like series 8 I will be well happy :) Saying that I ended up liking it in the end :)

Wow that was a major dissapointment, don't think i laughed thru any of it.

I dont think it was that bad, I think part of the problem was taking out the background laughing. When they told jokes or did something funny it seemed empty and to lack any depth :p

I sort of agree, I mean RD wouldn't have got past series 1 if not for the canned laughter that's for sure. But, they used to either film, or screen in front of a live audience so at least the laughter was genuine. I wonder if they did the same and got a very poor response. I also thought they had all forgotten to act apart from Lister, who probably never could  (sorry couldn't resist that!)
