hi guys i have got 2 red dwarf gourami's 1 male 1 female housed in a 50l tank with 2 angel fish, 1 elephant nose and 1 pleco... the 2 gourami's are new fish to my community they have been in about 3 days now, the female eats and swims about no problem but the male just sits there is slow to eat only has a little bit each feeding and just sits on the bottom of the tank all day and im starting to worry about him the temp of the water is 26 degree's C and i had the water tested at my lfs and they said it all looked good.... is there anything wrong with him? or is he just adapting to his new home?

Have you checked your water stats as they tank is well overstocked.

The angels, elephant nose and possibly the plec (depending on what type it is) all get way too big for that size tank and should never be in a 50L tank. You will need to rehome them asap

I wouldnt rely on your lfs for your water tests, get yourself a good liquid based test kit like the API freshwater master kit.

cool thankyou for your advice i am getting a 240l tank for my birthday in a couple of months which is plenty of time becuase they are all still babys at the moment my angels are under an inch my pleco isnt even half an inch the elephant is like 2 inchs and the red dwarfs are about the same as the angels.

Ill make sure to get that test kit you mentioned i would of thought the lfs would be reliable but obviously if i test the water myself i know for certain.
