Iused to have a red devil but rehomed him as he was in a 15g/57L tank, and it was the best. Since Ive had him I fell in love with aggressive cichlids. These just happen to be my favorites.

Im not getting one any time soon but I would love a 100g tank, and Im doing research so I can learn about them.

I love love love albino oscars. They are my weak spot.

Any special care tips, pictures, stores, etc are welcome! As well as tank mates, but I know that will depend on the individual fish.

If you want pictures of my old guy I can post them :)

I have never had an albino oscar, but I fostered a lovely lutino for a while, she was a very gentle oscar. In my experience with oscars the lutino is the nicest, temperment wise unless I have just been lucky and only met nice lutino oscars lol.

You have already answered your own question on tank mates, it purely depends on the fish, my one oscar hates other fish, but he has taken to a syno catfish even though he tried to eat a pictus cat. My other oscar is a wuss, he hates being on his own and needs company of other fish so long as they are not bigger than him, he likes to be the boss of the tank and he hates me.

Care tips for an oscar, a large tank, really good filtration, good clean water, a good varied diet including veg, get them on veg when they are youngsters, they can get fussy as they get older. If you do get an oscar and it starts to only eat one type of food, stop feeding it to him/her, they can be really stubborn and not eat anything else.
