Red Devil Or Blood Parrot?

This fish was sold to me as a blood parrot but I am starting to think it looks more like a red devil.
The bump on it's head looks bigger in person.

PLEASE HELP

Im not too sure, but look up King kong Parrot cichlid. Check if it looks similar.

No it's not a King Kong parrot - The bump on mine is no where near a KK Parrots.

could be a hybrid. Apparently there are many unpure midas's out there.

It has the profile of a Red Devil, all the Blood Parrots I have owned and the one I have now all have a head that has a dip just above the eyes.

They are different species that look very similar but have big differences.


It does look like a King Kong Parrot to me. A KKP doesn't need to have a large Nuchal Hump. The size can vary. KKP are Blood Parrot X Midas(or red devil). And it seems like it inherited the Short body but not the head.
