Just to add, the Crab needs to be in a tank that is Brackish with a specific gravity of 1.005-1.010, and it must have access to BOTH land and water.

redclaw crabs are land critters, and they need brackish, though there is no rule as to how brackish (they can breed in 1ppt). 2/3' land 1/3 water is often recommended.

its already been mentioned they should not be in the same tank!did the LFS know what you planned when you bought them?
ideally both should be kept in species tanks.
