Red Cherry Shrimp And A Betta

hey,i am setting up a new tank and i was wondering if i put a betta in with a few red cherry shrimp will he eat them?
the tank is a tall 6.6gal

it all depends on the betta, i have some that live together happily and some that wont .

if you want to try it be ready with the net just incase

my fish hated the shrimp i tried to introduce this week.
but like shaz said it depends on the fish.
