Hey all, I so hope someone will be able to identify this mysterious red bump. I have a nice fat neon tetra who in the last couple days has developed a large bump under her belly, it is forward near her head. After a day or two it grew bigger and it now has a bright red spot on it. She keeps hiding in the plants so I can't really get a good look at it. Anybody have an idea of what it could be and what, if anything, should be done? Thanks!

No it doesn't come to a point, it's quite round really and very red on the top of the bump and white at the bottom. She hasn't lost any color on her body and otherwise swims and acts normally.

Need to issolate the fish and use maracyn 2, good luck.

Too late. I isolated her last night and she died minutes later. Is there anything I should do for the tank? Everybody else seems fine.

Sorry R.i.P. just keep a close eye on them, do a few dialy water changs, good luck.
