Red Blotch

One of my golden barbs has developed a red blotch near it's tail?
It still swims about with the other four and seems to be healthy enough.
Any idea's on what it might be?

tank size?
was your tank cycled- how?
How long have you had him?
Other tank mates?

Also, aren't barbs shoaling fish and needs to be kept in groups of atleast 8?

I have a 60 litre tank,

parametres ...

pH..........8.0
Nitrite.....0.1
Nitrate.....5
Ammonia.....0

tank fish are...

5 golden barbs.
3 females guppies
4 neon tet's

have had the barbs just over 2 months now.
Tank wa started with quick start which came with the tank.

I would say do a 50% water change and keep an eye on it.
