Red Bettas

I've seen alot of red bettas in pictures (online and on this forum) that have at the end of their fin a slight blackness, is this normal? i only ask because my Inferno has the same thing

He's been like that since i got him, and my ammonia levels are always good, i test them regularly

Yes, mine has a tiny bit of fin rot, im going to pick up some salt next time I got to Petco.
