Red Bay Snook

The LFS had a few of these mixed in with some smaller Jack Dempseys, so I picked one up (couldn't resist the bright orange color) and added it to my 25 gallon tank. He's about 3" right now, and supposedly will get over a foot. I'm looking to upgrade to a 70 or larger tank at some point soon (preferably early next year), but am curious (worried) as to how quickly I should expect this guy to grow.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of fish?

Currently he's in with a convict, a jack dempsey, a tin foil barb, and a pleco.

awesome fish I prefer the green color morph over the red but as I said an awesome fish to have.
