Thanks.

The substrate is a base layer of Dennerle Deponit topped with black quartz (1 to 3mm). I also have a 25W heater cable.

Lighting has been recently upgraded (again) to 6 x T8 High-Output Full-Spectrum tubes with reflectors; Dennerle Special-Plant x 2, Interpet Triton x 2, Arcadia Freshwater x 1 and Hagen Life-Glo x 1. Total 123 Watts - 3.6 Watts per Gallon.

CO2 is injected using 2 x Nutrafin yeast-based units with a DIY recipe at 25 to 30 mg/. I'm upgrading to a pressurized refillable system in August.

Fertilisers are added daily to ensure the plants are kept well-fed. This helps prevent algae.

looks great as usual. Am jealous of your cardinals. They look fantastic. I still don't get how you take such brilliant photos...come on...give us tips!

Your tank is absolutely stunning!!!!! The green is so vibrant it almost hurts your eyes. What a fantastic job. I LOVE it.

The texture variation in the tank is incredible. The cardinals do add colour, yet it's very subtle, like a fine wine.

I just feel sick when I look at that tank !

Sick with jealousy :alien:

I just love it !

looking good gf225, i cant believe you've managed to fit yet another tube in there?

i take it you now feed using tweezers to get to the water....
