Crackin pics mate, you had the weather for it! we missed going to the airshow(raf fairford) last year becuase of the weather, cant wait til next year:) nothing better than the sound of aircrafts, something that you cant catch on camera.

yeah it was a great day, really hot. Shame about the cloud cover though. Nothing like a deep blue sky to make the aircraft jump out at you

I am going to RAF Waddington this weekend. We tay on a small campsite right next to the runway. The van shakes when a jet goes over :lol:

Great pics mate, fantastic to see the Vulcan again - that deep ground shaking noise still rumbles in my belly 15 years on loL!
 
Would of loved to be there but work weekends now :( :-( :( :-( :(

Gotta luuurve that apache gunship though and the battle of britain memorial planes :good: :good:
 
Excellent! I reeeally want to see the Vulcan :(. I got stupid tonsillitis just before the last airshow it was at near me and missed it :(.

Arrows and BBMF are always excellent (Hurricane is my favourite), and the Sabre is really beautiful, great shots of it!

It's impressive watching the Chinook display too - suck a big helicopter thrown around! (as you can see from the angle it's at in the pics)

yeah, the red arrows did an excellent display as ever!

you're right the chinook is extremely flexable, gotta feel for the loadies in the back though :D

See told my missus we should have went for a DLSR :drool: ...ohwell....looks like you had a great day, we have the free airshow 20-23rd August down Bournemouth Beach so wait for that to see the Vulcan bomber,my all time favourite plane

Hope the Vulcan is flying for ya, I heard at Biggin Hill, it was due to fly on Sunday but grounded due to maintenence, and they had trouble getting a flying permit at Waddington
 
yes it is a pain, they were ment to fly last august but didnt restorate it in time :angry:
Mate i will post pics if i get the day off from work but looking at your pics i will be imbarressed to pst them :lol:
