Reccomendations For..

Im wondering what to get for a new 48 gallon tank I have just gotten. I'm thinking of getting a fire eel. I know how to cycle and change ph and all that but any reccomendations?

find something u like, recearch it and go for it

There are many varieties. You can have a peaceful community, aggressive or semi-aggreseive species. You could have livebearers, or egg-layers. Lots to choose from. Hard to say exactly all the different types you could have as there are endless possibilities. Go to your local LFS to see what they offer first before you get your hopes up online then can't find it anywhere.

I'd be more inclined to buy fish that suit your existing water stats, rather than adding things to the water. What if the shop runs out when you need them?. What if you can't get out for them?.
