Just found out that my tank isnt actually a 75litre, its a 60L.

So i need some new stocking suggestions. Please take the time to come up with some good, beginner fish for me =]

ps: I love neon tetras

Id like 6 Neons, 4 platies, and a group of something else.

i wouldn't personally put any more in unless the tank is planted or over filtered, i have a 15 gal that contains 4 female betta, 2 neons (being moved soon and uping the numbers) and a shrimp, hoping to add a few ottos and shrimp are the platies going to be mixed or same sex?

edit: real bad grammar

Lol.

Well im not too sure. What pther alternatives are there? i want platy-sized fish.

Platy sizes, hmmm, mollies, guppys, danios, some barbs, lemon/black widow tetra. There are quite a few, research is key.

What about this?

4x Spotted rasboras
5x Neon Tetras
3x Platy's (all male as long as they dont fight)

And maybe a snail of some sort (i dont know anything about snails, enlighten me please)

Sounds alright to me  good luck and keep us posted!

Well my tank is still cycling, shouldent be much longer.

Any info on snails?

Why dont yu look at getting 4 cardinal tetras. They are exactly the same as neon tesras but they are a more Colourful fish. The red band that goes across the bottom f the fish goes from head to tail unlike the neon.

Just a suggestion.

Regards

Gaz.

ooh i see what you mean.

If my pet shop has them i will get them =]

I would personally steer clear of platys, they are nice fish but I have had lots of problems with bullying. If you got all females you should be ok though. If you want that size of fish I find male guppies get along together great I had 2 for 18 months and they were inseperable until 1 died last month. I would go with 7 neons 4 guppys and 5 khulie loaches. If you still want male platys I would buy more than 4 to spread the aggression. Good luck :good:

Those aren't even good choices, if you researched yourself, you would understand why. Mollies can get huge! And, they tend to do better in brackish anyways. Guppy is an okay suggestion, i'll give you that one. Danios, are way too active for a 15 gallon tank. Barbs may be okay, but they are very nippy, so the tetras may not be the best choice, unless i'm wrong?

Are you sure you aren't talking about Swordtails????

Ive never heard of nor seen a "huge" mollie myself, guess I still have alot to learn, point taken.

Depends on which barbs you go for- cherry barbs are fairly timid, and pentazona barbs are not nippy.
Lots of platies have swordtail in them these days, which I suspect adds to their aggression factor: I've also had problems with males but never with females and females are just as nice to look at.
