Alucard who i recieved on thursday has developed a large belly, almost like a gravid female!

what could it be?!

I haven't overfed...

please help!

Ive just cooked some peas but he's terrified of them!!

I've just left them in there, just the shells..

can this kill him if he won't eat the peas?

could i try something else?

Hi

Try removing the inside of the pea from the shell and squish into tiny bite sized piece. (dont give him the shells)

My Betta gets half a shelled pea once a week (and that's the petit pois which is really small). Its surprising how much there is, compared to your Bettas stomach. as a guide the Betta stomach is approximately the same size as his eye. (so I have been led to believe).

See how he goes, you could always feed him a tiny bit more this evening.
