I know they arn't tropical but no one can help me. Most worried about the bubble on there lip:

Ive got a slight problem with my minnows,
I bought the 3 white cloud minnows about 3 weeks ago. Then yesterday as i was about to clean the fish out yesterday my boyfriend noticed tiny almost invisible hings swimming in the water which i instantly thought were parasites and i panicked. Then after looking online briefly found out there most likely baby one's. But as far as i was aware when i bought these fish they were baby's them selves and wasnt aware they bred so easily. Now i dont know what to do?! i didnt plan to breed them and havent got the first idea what to do. So has any one got any help or info on what to do?

I only have a 15L tank (all i have in the tank are the 3 white cloud minnows)and ive managaed to find atleast 6 babies but there so hard to spot!

Also the two bigger ones seem to have developed a bubble or a hook type thing on there bottom lip which i dont know what it is. its white/seethru ish.

well turning off your filter is a good idea...and do 10 percent water change everyday until you can put the babies in a floar jar or something (if you plan on going that route).

what you need to do if you plan on raising them is once their yolk sack is gone...take a part of potato, the size of a golfball, and put it into a clear glass jar or container half filled with water. leave it next to a window so it gets good sun for about 3 says. the milky stuff that grows inside is the waste from the potato (insuforia) feed them this twice daily.

are you 100% sure theyre baby white clouds??

I bought them from a shop that does specialise in fish , and she said that was what they were and looking online and they do look like them but just duller, do you think they could of been cross bred? Im not so sure any more. Ive tried reading up on them and i cant find anywhere that says about the hook/bubble on the lip. Im really confused now.

Have just done that potatoe in the jar (thanks for that) Is it ok if they stay in the same tank as the three fish or do the parents need do be seperated from the fry?

There is no need to turn off the filter or separate the fry from the adults. White Clouds don't eat their young. If you have lots of plants in the tank then the fry will live off the infusoria (tiny organisms) that live in and around the plants. You can also feed them on a powdered fry food or some liquid fry food, (both available from any petshop).

forgot to add that a pic of the fish with the bubble thing would help to id the problem.
