Was treat day today, prawn was on the menu for brekky, chopped and dropped into the tank and everyone feeding happily when Jethro (the plec) lumbered up for his, he is getting such a lazy so and so for feeding he just hangs in the water letting me pop morsals into his mouth (like throwing smarties into a black hole!) so there I was feeding Jethro when one of the Texas decided he wanted live food and attacked my little finger and tore off a chunk of skin!! luckily no blood drawn just it really shocked me more than hurt. Didnt get attacked when doing a water change tonight so I guess it was just the feeding frenzy. Kind of put me off them a little because they still have lots to grow!

 love it...sorry but thats cool....my old jaguar used to always attack attack attack when i put hand in tank...now the new oscar i have thinks nothing of attacking back of my hand, when i wave my hand to shoo him, he attacks my hand, lol a oscar with no fear what so ever :fun:

 Kinda shocks ya doesnt it! You will keep a close eye on them now, I know I dont trust Harry anymore after he nipped me just for fun.

i ve been lucky in that respect so far , only ever had tiger barbs nipping at me during wtaerchange , maybe im just not that tasty

Well I didnt get bitten this morning so they are forgiven (for the moment) I find my angels are the worse for nipping, I hate doing the water changes in their tank as they go for the soft skin just above my elbow and it really hurts, nippy little monsters they are lol.

lol i had that problem with my old convicts, when they where breeding when i was doing water changes they don't really hurt it just the speed at which they come at just surprises me lol

My Clarkii clown fish defending his anenome was the worst! would make me bleed everytime!!!
