I have 2 ten gallon tanks. In one tank I have 2 danios and they are fine and seem active, however, they are very fat in the stomache. They look like they are bloated, but have looked this way for at least 2 months and they are very active and show no signs of having health problems. How does bloat work? If they had it, would they have died or something by now because of it. I have cut down their food thinking they were over eating, but they aren't losing weight.

:(  :/

Hard to say what the conditionis withot a picture. Some guesses... the fish may be constipated. watch them to see if they are still doing there poo. :p If they are not feed them an algae wafer or two it will help. If they are not too big perhaps they are egg filled females :D . Also have heard that dropsy can manifest with these symtoms but if the fish seem active i would rule this out. Good luck with this and hope everything works out fine. :)
