We all make mistakes when first starting the hobby.
You think lfs are giving you good advice when most of the time there not.
All you can do is water changes and increase aeration.
I would definately take the shark back to the lfs as he to big for a 15 gallon tank.

im getting a bigger tank for the shark at the end of march

i went into the fish in cycling because thats what the shop told me to do i didnt think they would just lie or be thta stupid tbh but its done now ive just got to keep on with the waterchanges

I wouldn't add anymore fish as you are pushing it stocking wise.
I would also pick a fluval 2 filter up to cope with your stocking, it better to over filter a tank anyway.
plus the juwel powerheads are not great filters.

im thinking about buying a big external but im in a dire money situation atm all of my wages this month has got to go and pay off a £600 overdraft plus my rent so i wont be able to even do that until end of feb


edit its only £15 so ill should be ok

no ive got a full time job but i spend thousands on vinyl and dj stuff thats what my debts are from im on my last 600 now after this months im fully out of debt

the chest of draws my deck where on now houses my tank ive run out of room and i still need to shift stuff for another tank

woke up this morning and he's died and just to really rub things in some how the rainbow shark got out of the tinest hole in the lig for the leads and was dried up under my draws
