Real Men Wear Pink...

Here are some pics of my male Betta, he is pink with darker pink and black highlights in some of his fin features... he wouldnt really display for me, so he looks pretty homely in these pics, that is his 5 gallon home. Enjoy! Sorry pics are kind of blurry..

Ok lets clarify a few things here, im a lady... im not a POOF... and I only put that title to get peoples attention LOL. I thought he was cool cuz its the first pink betta I have seen... it was between him or a black bodied betta with gold fins..they were both equally beautiful, but im a girl and I like pink... sometimes.. so I picked him. I've had him for about 5 months now.

To me it looks like he is not -pink-, but cambodian. This just means he has no pigment on his body. What you're seeing is the colour of his flesh, which is pink. Or that's the way it seems to me.

No hes not peachy... that is true pink, and its darker in some areas, like a dark pink and light pink the rest. I dont have a name for him, I just call him Pinky... my bf doesnt like him cuz of the color, but it aint his fish so he has no room to talk. Glad other people think he is pretty. I got him at my LFS, its a locally owned petstore, I dont know where they get their fish from either.

Just been to look at my guy he is definitely peachy...also cross as my make up bag is next to his tank and he can see his reflection! Shouldnt have faves but he is one of mine. I have posted his piccie so many times I am surprised I have not been told off!
