now before you shout at me, i know they're the wrong type of fish, and i no i shouldn't be doing a fish in cycle, but some of my tetras dont look right, as in they are staying next to the filter and not really swimming around much.
also 2 of them have diluted pupils.

they have been in for 4 days, and the tank was running a week.

P.H 7.6ish
ammonium - 0.5
nitrite - 0.5
nitrate 10.

should i just let them do their thing?

what size tank is it?

If you can take them back.
Do some water changes to help dilute the NO2 & NH3 or take a look here and see if anyone will donate some filter media.

You could also get some bactinettes to put in the filter to help (it is live bacteria)

50% daily would be good.

Do you have a maidenhead aquatics near by? They take fish back. as they have a policy where they wont leave a customer with a fish they dont want.

no its too far to take them and i couldn't get there.
ive been told on here that they will probably any way.

ive got 2 rosy tetras, 2, head light tetras and 2 cherry barbs.

the other weird thing is that when i turn the light off, they seem fine
