Reaction To Medication

hi,
i have just treated my ram for mouth rot using an anti fungus and finrot medicine. however, my ram reacted very badly to this and started swimming erratically. i immediately took the ram out by placing him in clean water (chlorine treated). he still looks very ill so i have placed him in a separate tank for the time being. what am i supposed to do now as he needs medicating? how do you treat a fish which reacts badly to medicines??

You could try half dosing the med.
Did you increase aeration in the tank.
If its the interpet med its not that good on columanris.
Myxazin by waterlife and pimafix are better.

You say you added him to clean water did you match the temp of his tank.
