Re-Setting Up

OK i am re-setting up my 140lr tank but i am unsure what to do with it, my mrs wants it for livebearers but i want it as a tanganikan or a grow out tank for my malawis when they breed, what do u guys/girls think i should do with it, little does my mrs kno that if she has livebearers i will use the fry as food for my malawis...lol

the malawi fry will all be sold at £1 each regardless of species, im not breeding for money im doing it for pleasure and experience, hence the cheap price

It is a pity to use a 140 ltr for livebearers, in my humble opinion. Can't you get a smaller tank for your livebearers and make both happy? A 140 litre would make a great setup for malawis, a nice underwater landscape...

i have a 400lr for my malawis, the 140 would just be for growing them on, i think i mite get her a small tank for her livebearers and put in out the way somewhere, may even use it for tangenikans and set up a growing on rack with some smaller tanks for the malawi fry, yep i think thats what ill do, so 400lr for my malawis, 140lr for tanganikans, 60lr for mrs livebearers and then a rack of 5-6 40lr for malawi fry

lol - do you still want some livebearers stephen, or does your mrs want to pick them out herself at the lfs?

yh will still be after some livebearers but not yet, need to get her a new tank first
