So my tanks been setup almost a couple of months I think.

It's 64L and I want to re-scape it. The gravel is kind of uneven (not in a natural way), some the plants are falling to bits and are not very well buried and I just want to generally tidy everything up and add a few more plants.

I think I would like another small bag of my gravel substrate to be added too. So I assume I need to take the fish out for an hour tops?

How can I do this - I have no spare tank. Can I pop them in a bucket with aquarium water for an hour? Does that sound crazy ?

No that should be fine as long as you pop your heater in there with them and try not too leave them in there too long. Got any pics of your tank as it is? Maybe we can assit you better if we can see the tank and plants in question.

Im assuming the tank is cycled?
