ranting a little

I'm responding to these posts based on experience that has worked for me, I've kept Africans for 20+ years and used to work in an aquarium for years as a teen through my early twenties.

Its cool. I understand where your comin from. I've gained a lot of experience in a relatively short amount of time but I still don't know very much and I was not trying to say you were wrong. I just wanted to throw the article out there and I found the natural habitat of mbunas very interesting.

I know that on paper things look good but the really the only way to know for sure is to try it. I'm sure you've tried many things in your time as an aquarist. Just wanted vantge to have the info in case he had not heard it. Peace.

It's all cool fellas, I know how peaceful, interesting, and relaxing a nice tank can be, and how frustrating a bad one can be. I'm doing gouramis and geophagus to change it up, and trying my hand at plants. I must be getting old! I think I'll have to eventually go back to Africans, but I'm waiting until I move into a bigger house so I can build a rather large tank. Until then.....
