I've just come home to find my snowball has passed away, I've taken a couple of pics to show you how I found the poor thing. My filters are very mature and I have virtually zero nitrate
I'm absolutely gutted
I could understand that if I had lost a cardinal or two that something was definatley up with the water.
My L134 and blue phantom are still ok though which im very pleased about!.
Parameters are as follows.
PH 7.4
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - virtually 0
Hardeness - hard to soft
Feeding is a mix of frozen mussels, algae wafers, hikari carnivore pellets and cucumber.
I'm doing partial water changes with R/O water once a week 10% which equals 18ltrs. Then dosed up with 15ml aquaponics 7 day plant food. Any ideas would be great if you could pass them on
Regards
Matt
