can livebearers breed together in different species. e.g a male molly and a female guppy? i just thought about it and wondered.

Some livebearers can hybridise; notably guppies x Endlers (in fact all Endlers in the trade are now Endler/guppy hybrids) and platy x swordtail (swordtails are in the same situation as Edlers; nearly all of them are platy hybrids)

Molly x guppy is a disputed one; some people say they can, but that the fry are always male, sterile and don't live long, while others say it's not possible,
