I love polls!

I voted no, yes, and other.

I never do anything to adjust the pH in my tanks. In most cases I think it's unnecessary and the fluctuations that result of not monitoring such changes very closely can cause a lot more harm than good. The fish can adjust to most water much more easily than they can to constantly changing conditions.

I feed my cory cats a lot of live blackworms and sometimes tubifex. They thrive on them. :D

I voted Yes, No, & Bloodworm. I have used PH Adjusters since I started fishkeeping and they have never caused problems when used correctly.

I've asked for a pH adjuster for Christmas because my tap water pH is way too high. So I'm getting worried now people are saying their harmful.

If used correctly (Make sure you read bottle etc) they are very effective, and have no caused me, or any of my family or friends problems. ;)

I don't use pH stuff because I don't want to spend the money and I don't know much about pH. I can't comment about its usefullness / harmfullness because I honestly don't know ^^

I like bloodworm, and so do my cories, but it's frozen. The only live food I feed is fruit flies.

Yes, no, I have Africans and because it is known that raising the PH is much safer than lowering it, I feel there is nothing wrong in doing so. and Daphnia.

I have african cichlids too, but lucky for me, we have high tap PH.
I voted:
No, Not Sure, Bloodworms :)

I voted no, yes, and bloodworm- but actually I could have voted for the brine shrimp and daphnia too; my fish love them all. In sachets, from Tetradelica, though, so I suppose I'm cheating a bit. But they love it. Maybe I should have voted not sure on the second one: I think ph adjusters can have a part to play, in the hands of experienced people who know what they're doing, but I don't count myself in that category; also, the local fish I buy will be used to swimming in liquid chalk, so I don't want to shock them.
