No, yes, Bloodworm. I don't prefer any live foods over any other, but my fish prefer the Bloodworms...so I figured I'd leave it at that. :)

As for pH adjusters...I can't comment on the new ones (If there are new ones) because I only used them about 7 years ago. When I was newer to the hobby. Back then, I noticed they did change the pH very suddenly. In a couple of hours it had gone from 6.5 to 6.9. And that can't be good for the fish. It also didn't stabilize it for very long, maybe a week at most.

no, not sure (depends on who's using it if they know what they're doing and if the goal is a good one not just I heard 7.0 is a good pH...) and other because i can really only get blackworms living and wiggling.

no, not sure, daphnia

i have thought of feeding them bloodworm especially since i now have a clown loach, but the LFS told us the they can cause infections in the fish is this true or will the fish eat em to quick????????????????

Never used ph adjusters myself and don't intend to- for the most part they are bad because they often cause ph fluctuations which kill and stress out fish, they are only good if in the hands of very experienced fish keepers who know what they are doing and using them in the right situation i.e to breed a rare/difficult to breed type of fish or in the rare situation where they are really needed to adjust the ph for a fish to simply prosper in a tank.

As for live foods, i don't use any live foods but i do use frozen ones(which really aern't that different apart from the life/death factor of the food)- my favorite frozen food is krill, which every fish in my tanks goes crazy for, even my largest sailfin plec trys to gobble up tiny krill with her enormous mouth, krill are also a big favorite for the corys, particually the panda corys, and pretty much every other fish.
My livebearer fry also really love eating the krill juice left over in the packet after the krill have been thawed out :fun: .
