Well i finally got around to uploading all of my favorite pictures from the last year or so to Photobucket! just wanted to thank everyone for their very kind words on my 3 posts of pictures....i'm very flattered after seeing some of the gorgeous shots out there...i'll be sure to keep up with posting recent pictures in the future!

Tuesday (our cat), thanks you all for the POTM nominations and gladly accpets (you shoulda seen how happy my girlfriend was when she found out everyone loves our cat) lol

Abstract - I believe I see a Croaker in the last picture, very nice specimen looks to about 2 1/2 pounder there, what did you catch it on? Yes I said Croaker, I know the fish is really a White Freshwater Drum, but that is what they are called up there because they tend to croak like a frog when they are out of water.

P.S. I have to agree with the general concensous about the kitty, absolutely adorable.

yup, it is what we call a "sheepshead" here in Western NY/Lake Ontario...aka the freshwater drum, croaker, white perch, all kinds of names all over the country (pretty interesting how that happens!)....didn't weigh it but it was between 2 and 5 lbs...i caught 4 that day (catch and release of course )...i caught them all on simple rubber crayfish (almost looks like a little squid more than crayfish, long body and a trailing skirt) dragging it through the wedbeds on the bottom....they never fight very actively, feel more like reeling in a big log lol! i couldn't believe it, but my girlfriend actually caught one floating a worm with a bobber - they don't usually come off the bottom too far to feed!

wow, now that is flattering! no, i'm not pro, but really do hope to get into it more in the future...it's one of those things i love to do and i found i'm very good at, but i just don't know how to get my foot in (i wouldn't want to do it as a full-time job as i am majoring in information technology [graduating this winter hopefully!], but would love to do it on the side)
