hi guys
Was just feeding my fish when i notice something at the back of the tank, it was my albino bristlenose dead and half eaten. i fished it out straight away and there was no signs of illness. i always watch my albino BN cos its always very active and saw it yesterday during a waterchange. Now i've noticed my female BN (normal brown colour) is very fat and wide from an above view and sits on the glass next to the heater and also breathing slightly faster than normal but i have good aeration. is it likely to be carrying eggs, bloated, Internal parasites?
Tank 33 gallon
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10
planted tank
diy co2
tpn+ 2.5ml daily
26C
Filtration - tetratec ex600 and rena 405. fully cycled and running above 2 years. no new additions
tank mates
honey gourami
angel fish
6 cory cats
6 white clouds
10 neon tetra
2 khuli loach
and the brown bristlenose
will post pics later
cheers
