Rams

Think I'm gonna go with the ones my local fish shop have breed an has had them in a ph of 7 to adult size... Do you think if I got two male an female they would pair of are might they just not get along.??

In my opinion, the advice we give should always deal with the "ideal" whenever possible.  Being able to "get away with" something isn't really the type of fishkeeping that I think we should be condoning.  Certainly, the answer may not be what the OP wants to hear, but that doesn't mean that it isn't the best answer.

If the goal is to keep the fish alive for a year or two, then certainly it could be done, but disease/parasites will probably be a constant companion.  I wouldn't do it.  I'd get the Bolivian Rams instead and not worry about the issues.  Bolivans are quite lovely in their own right.

Yeah I agree with what your saying... They look really colourful an look to be happy in the store they have 2 tanks full of them bout 40 in total... I was just thinking if they were grew from birth with different water conditions it might change them... I was thinking maybe if they were wild ones then they would need there exact water conditions....

I like the shape an all of the Bolivian rams but the colour isnt really that appealing.... I was sorta looking to add a bit more colour to my aquarium...
