Rams

I have just got a new pair of rams since my old pair died (Sigh...), anyways, to prevent fish dieing festival for rams again, what do they like? Acidic water? Alkaline? Habitat? Environment? Any thing that's helpful to keeping rams can be posted here .

gold rams are great little fish, especially when breeding their colours are so much brighter. They thrive better in softer(kh/gh) ,lower ph water and need good clean water conditions, also it is poss to keep them in harder water i found them breeding more and happier in the softer water .

delicious!, i love rams but have been looking at bolivian rams, as they are a bit hardier, its always the same the better lookin fish like yours always have a draw back, i dont think i could keep the water chem brilliant all the time, im fairly new]

good look to looking after that pair, and i love that catfish
