Rams Breeding In Sand Pits

My Rams are only laying their eggs in sand pits that they make, even if I have provided them with smooth flat rocks. Do they not like the rocks, or are the rocks not big enough?

It's normal that's just where they feel safe. It's ok don't feel bad they just like it this way. Try putting the rock in a different place.

Yeah mine did this too, even when given broad leafed plants and terracotta pots .

Wrecked the whole tank making the pits...then ate their eggs .
