I had a pair of German blue rams and two pairs of electric blue rams.
The female GBR has dies recently, old age I suspect, because I've had her for about a year, and she was adult when I got her. I'm expecting the male to follow her in the next couple of months, since they should be the same age.
I have one of the female EBR (they are all juveniles) has fairly bad popeye, but she's been like that for a couple of weeks now, and she's lively and eating.
Some friends are insisting on getting me some fish for my main tank, and I'm thinking of asking for a pair of juvenile GBR.
If the female EBR dies that would leave me with two extra males. How would that work out?
Would they be fine, or should I aim for more females than males?
