Ram Terrorising Mystery Snail.

My female ram keeps attacking my huge mystery snail I brought today.

Everytime it pokes its tenticles out, she goes for a big nasty chop on them.

Is this normal behaviour? Why is she doing it?

I have not heard of Rams eating snails before, but its antennae are quite unprotected ( no shell )... The Ram obviously see's it as a possible snack... I would not worry however.
