I've been trying so hard to grow Java Moss to a piece of slate. The fish seem to adore it and snack on it, so it started getting kind of sparse. I went out and got more, tied it down really well, and started to see some growth. My GBRs decided that they wanted to spawn on that piece of slate, and have ripped up a good amount of moss from the corner and are currently laying eggs there. It does seem to give them a little bit of privacy. I'm not expecting the fry to make it, as the pair is still quite young and will likely eat the eggs, but I had to chuckle when I saw them furiously tearing up the moss.
