Hey, I am looking to get some more fish, because as you can see in my sig, my tank hasn't got a lot in it. I was wondering whether I could have a ram or two with the fish I already have. I understand that they need a cave.
Would they be alright with zebra loaches as well, because i am looking to get about five of them to help my snail problem.(they look prettly as well  )
Thanks, James :kana: :kana:

any pics of zebra loachs cant find them in my book but the ram should be ok

Thanks for your help.

The only problem is that rams dont like corries, they are natural enemies and the rams chase my panda cories around alot although not aggresively and no damage is done

Rams + cories + loaches sounds like too many bottom dwellers to me :/

I've kept rams and cory cats together without any problems until spawning time when the cory's ate all the eggs. Otherwise my rams didn't even have a second look at the corys and didn't even chase them out of the nest.

My rams chase my panda cories all the time, only in a funny playfull way though, they peck at them like they are food, its not bad but worth considering and as you say if the rams do breed the corries will eat the eggs

I didn't mean anything by that post. I just want to point out that every fish is different and you'll never know unless you try it. (AS LONG AS YOU HAVE SOMEPLACE ELSE TO MOVE THE FISH IF THEY DONT GET ALONG) Cant stress that enough  Just because one ram doesn't like corys doesn't mean another wont :)
