Ram Fight..

my two rams have been fighting each other for the past couple days at first one of them seemed to give in but now hes fighting back. the tank is 20 gallons and they have claimed their seperate areas .. is this normal behavior ? i read all over that they are peacful .. but i am glad that the other ram will fight back and not be bullyed

How open is your tank? Do you have anything in there to break the line of sight?

I keep my tank quite heavily planted and have never really had any problems.

i added some rocks and plants and i heard they like plant pots so i added one in for them and i made some hiding spots and they stay in there own places.

some plants aren't going to provide the best cover. I dont own rams yet but for my tiger barbs i find that Green Cabomba really seems to 'block' their view of the other fish and seems to calm them down.

i used to have a group of tiger barbs and they would bully all the other fish in the tank
