WOW, and i thought my guppy had enough for her first...15 in total. You'll need to get another tank...

To grow them fast and healthy,

Feed them plent of portien foods (crushed), flake (blended up), pellets (crushed), brine shrimp (frozen), bloodworm (frozen), baby brine shrimp (hatch your own if you can get hold of eggs - ebay is good for them).

With the fry being small, frozen foods can be grated and fed to them, this is how i have always done my fry and they grow fast and strong.

Wait til they are 2 weeks old before feeding them frozen foods though.

Thanks Buddy i also needed some advice on foods. :good:

Also are Brine Shrimp anygood for adult fish? They sale huge bags on ebay so don't really want to buy a bag that size for 11 Guppys/Fry, i say 11 as 4 died 2 by a Gourami and to just didn't survive.

Yea i was rather shocked also!! I have another tank for them :good: x

Well think about it, 70 x £1 if you seel them to shops, also some shops give you half price so you could end up with £100...

LFS wont buy these at £1 each ur looking more at around 25p maybe 50p for store credit they buy there stock in at stupid prices so they wont give u much more for them than they get them for :)

Ill flirt with the staff see if i can get some more for them  :p

I thought id only get 50p ish each for them anyway but i will just enjoy watching them grow, im not fussed on making money (although that would obviously be nice!) I think ill try ebay when they are big enough to sell. I had some more fry previously, only 11 (the mum guppy died during labour) and they are all coming out in a fabulous neon green and yellow colour so hopefully these will be as pretty. xx

LFS will mainly pay around 25-50p each for them (50p if your lucky)..

Most fish stores work on a 300% proffit, and most lfs near me sell them at £1.20-£1.80

What i always do with my fish is take them to the most expensive lfs, this way they sell for more so you get more lol.

Best thing to do is sell them privately you'll get more for them, if you do sell them on ebay make sure you put 'pick up only' as they will dry out in an envelope...

Thats why you double bag them and put them in a box lol, not a envelope hehe
