This is the most awesome site for Rainbow Fish I've come across :)
And more specifically Boesmani.
I have Reds and a Boesmani - they are awesome fish. You will find your tank is just about big enough for this group of fish once they mature. They are very active fish. Feed a varied diet and they'll be happy and healthy.

(I assume this link is OK, as they are merely profiles of these fish - and no forum of any kind associated with it.)

hi thanks for the website link, good site!
anymore info from anyone welcome!
also how many more fish in your opinion could i get and what sort would be best?
thanks x x x

Perhaps one more Boesmani but no more other fish. You don't want a sardine tin there ;)

really?
i was thinking of getting either 2 synos or 2 plecos also to add to the tank and maybe a few more cories?

thanks x x

Your Bengal Loaches (if you mean Botia Dario) will reach approx 6". You could get one more of them (they would really appreciate that).

Remember that many pleco's are nocturnal and you'll seldom see them. But if you really want some, perhaps something that won't exceed 5". See this new handy pinned list of pleco's that will only reach 8" and under.

That said - I've learnt that a tank with busy fish (such as the Boesmanis & loaches) will look much much better if not overstocked.

You shouldn't have to feel that you need to cram fish to the max inch/gallon.

Just my opinion :)
