Rainbows And Angels

Hi, I've noticed some oscars allow you to pet them/stroke them and was wandering if angelfish or rainbow cichlids allow the same sort of thing?

Never really tried it with mine, but I doubt it. They're quite shy (unless there's food about) but even then sudden movements would easily scare 'em.

I think oscars are just big and numb, they dont really get the whole "humans could be dangerous" thing

My angel's are not shy at all, they even feed from my hand (fingers really). Just started by holding a frozen cube of bloodworm in my fingertips, then I moved it into my hands a bit more and now they do it for any food (piggies), havnt tried to touch them though, sure with a bit of patience I could.

I was meaning my rainbows

My angels are far from shy, but I've never attempted to hand feed any of my fish and still doubt they would in my tank. Maybe in a smaller one.

yeah anyone can hand feed my gf's angels, such little fatties, they will even peck my arm if i am rearranging the tank.

Mine can be aggresive...most are. They nip at me too...lol.

My rainbow cichlids are anything but shy and attack my hands, though they normally have fry constantly. Angels can be hand fed, not sure about stroking them though, same with the rainbow cichlids.
