I just got an albino rainbow shark yesterday and I want to know what else can I have... In the tank are 5 bronze cories and 3 endler guppies (which I will be returning to the lfs soon)... The tank is medium planted and has a lot of hiding places, including a piece of slate which I propped up against a piece of driftwood to make a cave, which the shark has since claimed. (I think...) I plan on getting a BN pleco in the future for clean up duty... Would a school of harlequin rasboras be alright? What about tiger barbs?

Um, harlies would do great! A nice schoal of 10-12 would give a great affect. As for the barbs, a smalll group of 6-8 would be cool!

i reckon it would be either one or the other, but not both.

benny

Thanks for that info miagi!

Prolly will get either the barbs or rasboras then, defn. don't think the tank is big enough for both the schools... I'm looking for fish that school tightly together as I'm into that look, that's why I asked about the rasboras... What about lemon tetras or other types of tetras? Can you recommend any that aren't too small?

Keep the advice coming guys! :)

hmmm... schoolers.... try bloodfin tetras - they look awesome in a decent size school, and they look like mini versions of the albino rainbow - or, well, im also partial to the barbs myself... you could also try some black skirts... theyre fun... same shape as pirahnas when fully grown. :hyper:

whatever you do, dont get another shark... unless youre gonna get 5 or more. one will dominate the other 3 or less and they wont live long. but im sure you knew that already! B)

cheers,

Skye
