Rainbow Cichlid Safe Plants?

Just wondering if there are any plants that would be safe with rainbow cichlids? It would appear they are very herbivourus...

Very much eating them. My 18" Vallis is now about a cm...

Yep, my vallis went the same way with the eliotti. I find (this is only for me mind) That amazon sword and anubas, other than keep being dug up, seem to do OK. Maybe other rainbow cichlid owners can comment.

Yeah I have read that anubias and java fern is ok to keep with them. May try a piece of java fern seeing as there is a bit floating around my other tank.

Funny your ellioti ate it, 2 spot is fine with them. He looks awesome with black substrate! You should really come and see him.

yeh yeh I know. Will soon and yes you are welcome to have some DG's when they have got bigger. and some more snails I suppose. and I may even be able to supply some plants.

My rainbows have stopped eating all food I give them and only eat the plants (sword and hygro). This is strange because they used to eat food very well.
